I’m lucky that my commute into work doesn’t currently exceed more than 10 minutes. However, without longer, I’ve been struggling recently to find time for reading. It’s not that there’s nothing to read. I often find myself pouring over the books that I’m meant to be shelving.
The other day I happened across one such book – Cecelia Ahern’s latest novel. I admit that I was totally lured by the bright purple cover featuring a fairy-tale key. Chic lit, in itself, isn’t something that I’m particularly fond of, but I do love a good fairy-tale. Even the modern day kind, many of which appear in film, such as Chocolat and Penelope.
So, we’ll see what this new tale has in store. The only thing that bothers me is the mention of mobiles and svu’s – with which timelessness is thrown out of the window!
